Yoga and Sound healing evening with Tibetan singing bowls

Join me for an evening of bliss. Starting with a beautiful flowing Yoga practice giving you the opportunity to stretch and mobilise. We will be practicing with prana energy, pranayama (breathing) and mindful meditation leaving you feeling calm and relaxed. Harmonising body, mind and spirt.
Sound Healing Therapy will help you achieve a state of deep relaxation and a deeper state of meditation. It works on removing any blockages within the chakras, allowing energy to flow freely and to create harmony within the mind, body and spirit. Sound healing will connect with your mental and emotional body, it can help reduce stress, lesson anxiety, provides a way to manage depression. By balancing and clearing the mind, using sound vibrations, it can lead you to a renewed sense of purpose, happiness and wellbeing.
Tibetan singing bowls have been used for spiritual and healing purposes since ancient times. Buddhist monks have long used them in meditation practice. Tibetan singing bowls are a type of bell that vibrates producing rich harmonies that help to balance the chakras, eliminate stress, and promote holistic healing. When we relax to the sounds of Tibetan bowls, our concentration improves and we connect with our emotional body.

Other workshops I offer;
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is known in the modern world as a style of yoga where you hold static poses (shapes) for a longer period of time. This is so the meridians of the body can be fully nourished and Chi can be directed along certain pathways. We will aim to hold shapes for 3-5 minutes. Within this practice we are targeting the tissues, ligaments, and tendons. This is a slow moving practice where we relax the muscles and move with minimal effort. When holding a shape, the tissues are compressed and placed under an appropriate amount of stress. We will be mindful to apply the right amount of stress in each pose, we are not looking to stretch or create the perfect shape, but to find a soft edge. On a scale of 1 to 10 you will be working at about 3 – 4. Yin gives us the opportunity for stillness of the body, where we can observe fluctuations of the mind and connect with our natural breath. This practice calms and balances the mind and body.
Magical Meditation Circle
Many of us believe to meditate we must sit and clear our minds. Think of nothing and be still. Meditation can be a challenging practice, especially in the beginning. Meditation is about focusing your awareness on one point… a place where you want it to go such as the breath… rather than being caught in incessant thinking and the noise of the mind. Learning to train your attention in today’s world can be tricky, but extremely rewarding.There are many meditation techniques that can use to help calm your mind, relax your body and enhance your spiritual practice. We will practice different techniques in this workshop, such as mindfulness, pranayama (breathing practices), visualisation, Yoga, sound and massage therapy.No-one is the same and different practices suit different people. This workshop is about finding a practice that works for you.
Charlotte’s holistic approach to massage aims to enhance natural healing of the body, mind and spirit.
Chakra Workshop, Tibetan or Crystal Singing Bowls and Massage Relaxation
In this workshop we will learn about our Chakras using Yoga asana (poses), meditation, Pranayama (breathing practices) and Tibetan or crystal singing bowls to bring a sense of balance. Chakras are thought to be spinning disks of energy/ light that should stay “open” and aligned to allow positive energy to flow through the body. In this workshop we will harmonise body, mind and spirt which will give you with an enhanced sense of wellbeing. Our session will finish with Tibetan singing bowl sound therapy which is effective in achieving a state of relaxation, as well as moving through blockages in the body. You will also receive a optional holistic face massage which gently softens the tight tissue and muscles in the face.
